為深入挖掘具有濃郁地方特色的湖南美食，打造獨具特色的地方飲食文化，將“湖南特色小吃”作為我省旅游名片推向全國、走向世界。2016年2月25日，由湖南省旅游飯店協會、湖南省湘菜產業促進會組織開展的“中國金牌旅游小吃”湖南區評選活動，在湖南華天大酒店舉行，張家界國際大酒店作為參賽選手前往參加比賽。
